I found Dr Birtle very easy to talk to and she was very professional in her understanding and knowledge of my situation. Personally I have been amazed at the whole experience, the doctor made me feel positive and encouraged me throughout. I personally think that Dr Birtle is a true professional and at the same time friendly and happy. She took the time and interest to make me feel relaxed and positive about the situation and I couldn’t have hoped for better care and outcome. Dr Birtle and her team have carefully guided me through and I will be forever grateful to them, they are amazing.

Met with Alison this week following a diagnosis of a Stage 1 Seminoma. She took the time to explain everything to me clearly and discuss all possible options. She was incredibly supportive and made me feel extremely relaxed talking to her. She was more than happy to discuss any concerns which I had and was just absolutely amazing in general.

My husband and I attended the oncology clinic where we met Dr Alison Birtle. First impressions were very positive. We found her to be very professional while having excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ( Something which is missing with many health professionals!) Nothing was rushed, everything was explained in a coherent manner and we were given ample time to discuss concerns and ask questions. We left the consultation knowing exactly what the treatment plan would entail. It would appear from our experience that not only is Dr Birtle an outstanding practitioner who is very knowledgeable in her field but also a truly remarkable person who treats you with compassion, dignity, integrity and respect. At this moment in time we can't give constructive suggestions because my husband has not yet started his treatment.

Explained in great detail what is going to happen and when. Felt comfortable talking to Dr Birtle. Loved the hug at the end of the consultation.

My appointment with Dr. Birtle was rewarding and reassuring. Our meeting was conducted in a friendly and relaxed tone in which she explained fully what my alternative treatments were, leaving the choice to me. I thoroughly recommend and praise Dr. Birtle and look forward to our next meeting. Marcus Towell
